This elegant service was crafted by the respected silversmithing and jewelry firm of Mappin & Webb, who have had the distinction of serving the British Royal Family at Buckingham Palace for over 100 years. Since the issuance of its first Royal Warrants in 1897, Mappin & Webb has supplied the Royal Family with beautiful silverworks, including this server. Today, the firm is the official silversmith to both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.

The server bears the Mappin & Webb mark under the base.
