description
An incredible artifact of Freemasonry, this cane is often referred to as a “Globe and Cross” cane and is wrought with the symbolism of this secretive, centuries-old institution. Four crosses hold together the knob, or "globe" - when they are lowered, the globe unfolds to reveal a fascinating geometric design that takes the shape of a large cross. Each conical segment bears four Masonic symbols relating to humanity and its relationship to God. Crafted entirely of sterling silver, this amazing cane is incredibly rare and highly sought after by collectors.

A similar cane is featured in Cane Curiosa: From Gun to Gadget by Catherine Dike, 1983, page 205, image 19/15.
