This beautiful cameo lamp from the acclaimed Muller Frères glassworks casts an alluringly warm glow. Monumental both in size and artistry, the lamp is encircled by a dramatic rose silhouette, which has been masterfully carved and etched to reveal layers of vibrant color. The dramatic pattern was formed thanks to the highly specialized acid-etching technique for which Muller Frères was renowned.

Established in Lunéville, France, Muller Frères consisted of a group of brothers who had learnd their trade from the great French glassmaker Émile Gallé. From 1905 to the 1930s, the brothers produced luxurious glass objects in the Art Nouveau style, and they developed rapidly into a company celebrated for their creative innovation and superior quality.
