    A lovely Mettach beer stein by Villeroy & Boch of Germany depicts a keeper of a wine cellar. The image painted on the porcelain lid is of drafting tools.

    This beautiful .5 liter stein retains its original pewter thumb hinge which is in the shape of a joker and is in excellent condition.

    The stein bears the incised Mettlach abbey mark above the form number "2776" and the date mark of "03" for the year 1903.
