    description
Featuring her signature Greco-Roman design and refined style, this George III silver wine funnel was crafted by the “Queen of the Silversmiths,” Hester Bateman. The rare funnel fastens to the rim of a wine bottle via the attached hook, allowing wine to pass through the perforations in the center of the funnel and into the glass. This allows the wine to “breathe,” or aerate, which helps to smooth any tannic qualities and give the vintage a better flavor.
