description
An elegant and rare pale blue enamel and gold handle distinguishes this extraordinary Fabergé cane. Created by work master Henrik Wigström (1862-1923), who served as the head of the famed Russian workshop from 1903-1917, the cane is mounted with lovely 14K rose and yellow gold laurel wreath design. Wigström was a favorite of Karl Fabergé, for he personally appointed him the head of his St. Petersburg workshop. Wigström was allocated some of the most exacting commissions and important pieces for the Imperial family, including a majority of the famed Imperial Easter eggs.

The handle is stamped "H.W." and marked with the 56 zolotnik gold standard for 14K gold. Crafted 1908-1917.
