    description
Outstanding craftsmanship make these rare early 19th-century English candlesticks truly special. Crafted of resplendent ormolu, or gilt bronze, the pair feature a masterfully chiseled acanthus leaf motif. The stems are supported by a tripod base of lion paw feet, resting atop a tripod plinth. Maintaining a beautiful condition over the course of 200 years, these candlesticks are excellent specimens' of late Georgian design.
