    description
This exquisite Chinese blue and white porcelain teacup is from the famed Hatcher Collection of Nanking Cargo porcelain. The diminutive piece was retrieved by Captain Michael Hatcher, a British explorer and marine salvage diver made famous by his discovery of the sunken Geldermalsen of the Dutch East India Company. The sunken treasures found during the salvaging of the ship have become known as the Nanking Cargo, and these impeccably preserved pieces remain highly collectible.
