Classic, understated elegance defines this English William IV-period silver pot. Crafted by Richard Sibley, this lidded, single-handled pot was used to warm brandy, which was done to release the different flavors and aromas of this fine spirit. A turned, ebonized handle provides insulation from the heat. Richard Sibley was a very well-respected silversmith during the William IV and Victorian period, and to find household items of his, in such wonderful condition, are quite extraordinary.
