This striking Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Rainbow or Bifrost pattern ginger jar displays nearly every color of the spectrum. Created during the early 20th century, the enchanting fairyland designs created by Daisy Makeig-Jones were a significant departure from the traditional, classical Wedgwood motifs, which saved the company from financial ruin during World War I. For over two decades, the artist created an incredible range of works that reflected Makeig-Jones' artistic talent and incredible imagination. Today, they are some of the most sought-after Wedgwood creations. The vase bears the "Portland Vase" Wedgwood mark and the pattern #Z4968. Circa 1925 9" high
