Set upon a pedestal of black basalt, this endearing portrait is crafted of solid white jasper, combining two of the most important inventions to come from the partnership of Josiah Wedgwood and Thomas Bentley.

Marked "VESTAL Wedgwood & Bentley" on the bust and "WEDGWOOD & BENTLEY ETRURIA" in a circular stamp on the base
