This rare and exquisite Tiffany Studios favrile glass and doré bronze humidor is a wonderful example of the company's mastery of the Art Nouveau style. Favrile glass was perhaps the greatest achievement of Tiffany Studios, the glassworks headed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in conjunction with Tiffany & Co. Produced between 1891 and 1928, the blown glass displayed opalescent and iridescent colored finishes, and was used to created individually-produced objects which were both beautiful and functional for the home.
