This exceptional and rare presentation cup by Tiffany & Co. exhibits the Japanese-inspired style put forth by designer Edward C. Moore, with a striking hand-hammered finish, wavy lap over edge rim and extraordinary engraved and acid-etched decoration. Given as a golfing trophy by the Allegheny Country Club in 1906, the silver and silver gilt (inside) cup reads "ALLEGHENY COUNTRY CLUB, PRESIDENT'S CUP, 1906, WON BY J.H. CHILDS." This cup features the marks "TIFFANY & Co., 6530 MAKERS 3347, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000," with the date letter "C" for Charles T. Cook. 49.7 troy ounces Circa 1902-19068 ½" wide x 6 ½" deep x 11 ¼" high
