A splendid pair of French sterling silver candelabra, crafted by renowned silversmiths and jewelers Risler et Carré. The three-branched lights are exceptional examples of the Empire style, sumptuous yet classically inspired with lush acanthus and laurel leaves adorning the column-like structures. Bold fluting and reeding complete the Napoleonic design. Risler et Carré, a well-known and highly regarded Parisian silversmith firm, produced some of the most fabulous French Empire pieces of the mid-19th century. Marked and in excellent condition, these candelabra exemplify the height of technical artistry and skill.Circa 188212" wide x 18" highBase: 6 ¾" diameter
