Stingray Cane
- Item No.
Item Details
The tail and lethal spine of a stingray were used to create this fascinating walking stick. The shaft displays the rough nodules that are hallmarks of stingray skin, and is complete with its serrated spine intact. The spine is used strictly as a defense mechanism in the wild, and is covered with a membrane that harbors concentrated venom originating from glands at its base. To find such a remarkable biological specimen made into a fine walking stick is exceptional. The stick is topped by a silver knob handle with silver rope chain wrist loop and metal ferrule. The handle is engraved "J.H.H. Ajeltiue"
