A complete and fully hallmarked George III-period silver cruet service in the Warwick form by Huguenot silversmith John Delmestre. Huguenot silversmiths working in London during the late 17th through the mid-18th centuries produced some of the most magnificent domestic silver ever created. The discreet asymmetrical elements chased throughout this cruet set reflect the French influence these gifted craftsmen integrated into English silver design.

The stand is engraved with the Earl's coronate above the crest, signifying it was crafted for a client of great importance.
