A fine English demi-lune cabinet executed with the greatest precision and craftsmanship, decorated with fine inlay and polychrome scenes in the classical taste. Elevated on carved legs, the commode features a single front cabinet and two side cabinets. Recalling the paintings of Fragonard, the intricate motif of classical garlands, roses and mythological figures beautifully complement the shimmer of the perfectly matched satinwood. A luxurious and dramatic piece.
