The Regina Music Box Company of New York crafted this wonderful interchangable disk music box with one of its most ornately carved walnut cases. The box, known as "Style 19" plays 11" disks with a double-comb mechanism and retains the incredible sound quality for which Regina was celebrated. A wonderful lithograph on the interior of the lid features a representation of the company's namesake Regina, venerating her as the "Queen of Music." This lithograph is marked "Copyright 1896 by the Regina Music Box Company." The mechanism is equipped with a start/stop lever and is incised "REGINA" with the serial number "44964." Accompanied by 15 11" disks.
