This important George III-period gilt and satinwood console table is considered so superior for its type, that it was showcased at the 1967 Art Treasures Exhibition held by the National Antique and Art Dealers Association of America. This marvel of George III artistry is embellished with incredible marquetry of exotic woods on its very large satinwood top. Each of the legs is expertly carved and bears its original gilding.
