Pink diamonds are the most precious and desired substance in the world today, and have garnered the highest prices at auction of any gemstone. Stunning in color and clarity, this exceptionally rare Fancy pink diamond is one of the world's true treasures. Exhibiting a radiant cut that showcases its outstanding beauty, this enchanting 7.09-carat gem boasts a magnificent spread, appearing to be larger than its actual carat weight, and incredible optical transparency. It is also certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as being a rare Type IIa diamond, meaning that it contains no nitrogen. This rating places this extraordinary stone in the company of diamonds from the famed Golconda mine, which for years produced many of the finest diamonds in the world. It is extremely rare for pink diamonds to be graded Type IIa, and two of those diamonds that do have this rating, the Darya-i-Noor and Noor-ol-Ain diamonds, are part of the Iranian Crown Jewels. In fact, only a handful of Type IIa pink diamonds are known to exist in the world today.

It is almost unheard of to find a pink diamond of this astonishing quality and beauty. In addition to possessing an exceptional color, this diamond has been certified by the GIA as having VSI clarity. This certification sets it apart from the overwhelming majority of pink diamonds, which usually have many inclusions. It must also be noted that over 99% of pink diamonds mined today weigh less than one carat. To find a pink diamond of such singular hue, clarity and overall quality for its size is simply amazing.

            This exceptional diamond is set in a splendid platinum and 18K rose gold setting, and is joined by two shield or bullet-cut diamonds, which weigh a total of 1.04 carats and exhibit  E color VS1 clarity.
