This enchanting Old Paris porcelain dish was crafted by one of the small French porcelain factories that opened in response to the demand for quality porcelain in the 18th and 19th centuries. The finely hand-painted illustration of a bird is beautifully complemented by intricate gilt decorations. Old Paris porcelain was made in and around Paris from 1770 into the 1870s. The quality of Old Paris is consistently fine and pieces are typically unmarked.
