This exceptional pair of Moser ruby-glass goblets exhibits the incredible artistry achieved by the legendary firm. Crafted in a funnel shape, each goblet is impeccably decorated - one with oak leaves with applied silver acorns, all highlighted in gilding, and the other with a fruiting vine motif, accented with applied grape bunches. Set atop slender gilt stems, the bowls are flawlessly matched by the goblets' amber-tinted feet. This type of decoration was patented by Ludwig Moser in 1878 and has become the most iconic decoration of Moser glass.
Established in 1857, Moser soon earned a worldwide reputation for high quality workmanship and artistry, exhibiting at various world expositions and garnering a number of awards. Often referred to as "The Glass of Kings," Moser served as the Court Purveyor to Kaiser Franz Joseph I, King Edward VII, and the Shah of Persia.
