A classical Bacchanalia scene is etched into this wonderful Mettlach beer stein by Villeroy & Boch of Germany. The stein is marked "1/2L" capacity and is in excellent condition. 

The stein bears the incised Mettlach abbey mark above the form number "2025" and the date mark of "91" for the year 1891.
