A wonderful Mettach beer stein by Villeroy & Boch of Germany, adorned with a fine etched motif of tavern patrons enjoying beer. The stein is marked "1/2L" capacity and is in excellent condition.
The stein bears the incised Mettlach abbey mark above the form number "1196" and the date mark of "87" for the year 1887.
