A wonderful Mettach beer stein by Villeroy & Boch of Germany, adorned with a fine etched motif of men enjoying beer after a hard day's work. The stein is marked "1/2L" capacity and is in excellent condition. 

The stein bears the incised Mettlach abbey mark above the form number "2028" and the date mark of "06" for the year 1906.
