A very fine Meissen porcelain-mounted cabinet with gilded bronze mounts set into a fine, ebonized cabinet. The exquisitely hand painted porcelain mounts feature romantic floral and figural decoration, and the central plaque depicts a couple playing backgammon with an interested onlooker. Exceptional detail and expert craftsmanship went into the creation of such a piece as this, proving to be very costly indeed. Beautiful, complete condition.
