This mythological figural group by Meissen features a pair of jovial putti who frolic atop a rocaille base. Presumably disciples of Bacchus, one putto dances wielding a tambourine while the other pours wine into a chalice atop an altar. Excellent condition.

The figure bears the Meissen blue "crossed swords" mark with the model number "H.36"
