A contemplative Cupid takes a well-earned rest in this enchanting porcelain figure by Meissen. One of the 10 models of Meissen's Devisenkinder series, modeled by M.V. Acier AND J.C. Schönheit about 1775, it is exceptional in its artistry and delicacy, and presents a motto in its base: "Las de vainer je me repos."
