In this charming porcelain figure by Meissen, a boy plays a bugle while his faithful dog sits at his feet. Originally modeled in 1740 by the famed Johann Joachim Kändler for the Gardener's Children series, this young lad is executed with the greatest attention to detail. A similar figure is featured in Meissen: Collector's Catalogue by Laurence Mitchell.

Features the Meissen crossed swords and incised model number 22.
