Within this magnificent ivory-topped doctor's cane is everything needed for making house calls, and it contains all of the original instruments. Held securely in three detachable sections of this intriguing walking stick are a pair of gold rimmed spectacles, two bundles of gauze, a bundle of cotton, a thermometer, a bottle brush, three test tubes, three ampules of medicine and a metal plunger. This sturdy and practical cane was all that a traveling doctor would need. Excellent condition.
