Unlatch the double strike lock and lower the green leather covered writing surface to reveal drawers of matched walnut, adorned with banded inlay and ivory pulls, and a carved canopied open space. Complete with three drawers in a lower section, as well as invisibly molded storage, this remarkable piece is an excellent example of 19th-century craftsmanship.
