This incredibly rare rose bowl by J. Hoare & Co. is hand-crafted in the highly sought-after Wedding Ring pattern. This most coveted of American Brilliant Period cut glass patterns is characterized by a swirling motif of conjoined rings, executed with a depth and level of detailing carried out by only the most skilled craftsmen of the era. Quality examples in the excellent condition of this rose bowl are increasingly scarce and seldom appear the market. Since its triumphant introduction at the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, American Brilliant Period cut glass continues to be one of the most admired forms of American decorative art.
