This beautiful perpetual calendar clock was created by the renowned Scottish jewelry firm of James Muirhead & Son. Crafted of fine ormolu and hand-painted porcelain, this elegant timepiece has a visible Brocot escapement in fine working condition. The two dial faces are equipped to tell time, day, month, and moon phase with great accuracy. Known as goldsmiths, silversmiths and jewelers, James Muirhead & Son gained a loyal and prestigious following for their outstanding clocks, counting, among their patrons, Queen Victoria of England.
