Used by England's King George IV for hunting boar, this sword is embellished with the king's insignia on the pommel, and encrusted with clear and red paste jewels. Its handle is formed of fine ivory, and the engraved gilt and blued steel blade shows signs of actual use on the hunt. The ebonized wood scabbard has an additional space for an accompanying dagger, also with ivory handle.
