This splendid George II-period reading/cockfighting chair is stunning in both form and quality. Crafted of rare walnut, the marks of an early Georgian piece, this intriguing leather-upholstered seat features a yoke-shaped toprail with an adjustable easel and a saddle seat, allowing the reader/spectator to sit in the chair backwards and read or observe a match in comfort.
