This stunning silverplate plateau is a remarkable example of Victorian design. Dynamic decorative accents of exceptional quality, depicting classic Rococo motifs of scrolls and acanthus leaves, are applied around the rim of the mirrored surface and skirt the base, while shell-crowned masks sit above the scrolled feet.
