The drop-down front of this rare, mint condition English mahogany campaign chest reveals a fully fitted interior complete with the original inkwells, candleholders, leather-bound ledgers, ivory writing instruments and intact leather top, all finished with inlaid banding and ivory accents. Inlaid with satinwood and fruitwood, the desk also hides a double-door safe by the Milner's Safe Co. of London in its bottom cabinet. Circa 1880 29 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 48" high
