A rare and superb set of American silver salt cellars, salt spoons and pepper casters created by Boston silversmith Stephen Emery (1749-1801). The set was originally owned and purchased by Patrick Doran, the founder of a successful Nova Scotian lumber company, and was since passed down through his family for over 200 years. All pieces are engraved with his monogram "PD". Early American silver of such high quality is a wonderful find and of enormous value to collectors.
