This exceptional bronze inkstand is crafted in the form of a classical Greco-Roman basin, complete with gilt bronze lion's head mounts and lion's paw feet. Set upon a stone platform, this inkstand also features three compartments in which to hold glass inkwells and pounce, or ink-drying powder.
