An extraordinary French desk set by renowned French maker Alphonse Giroux of Paris, embellished with magnificent large shell cameos set in beautifully pierced and engraved doré bronze. Each of the 13 shell cameos on the letter box and inkwell features a figural scene. Both pieces retain their original velvet lining. Signed 'Alph. Giroux, Paris.' Excellent condition.

Ink Stand: 8" wide
