    20th Century

This incredible jug by the famed Belleek firm of Ireland exhibits a sublime, natural beauty. Known as an Aberdeen jug, this organic vessel is crafted of the finest translucent porcelain. Gentle fluting and a split, scrolling handle are the perfect complements to the hand-crafted, lifelike flowers applied to the jug's full body. Almost identical jugs are featured in Belleek Irish Porcelain by Marion Langham.

Known for being extremely dainty and lightweight, Belleek porcelain is among the finest in the world. Distinguished by designs taken directly from nature, Belleek pottery stands out in any collection. Some of their most enchanting pieces are the incredible Aberdeen jugs. Named in honor of Sir James Campbell Hamilton, 7th Earl and 1st Marquis of Aberdeen, these magnificent pitchers are among the most ornate that Belleek ever created.
