This rare and spectacular French Charles X center table, or gueridon, is outstanding not only for its marvelously carved cipollino al verso marble top, but also for its extraordinary mahogany colonnade pedestal. Resting on three lion's paw feet, the pedestal is graced with stylized scrolls and delicate inlay. Excellent condition.
