What do you get when the world's greatest sporting event collides with the greatest free show on earth? Why, Super Gras, of course! This year's Mardi Gras season promises to be one of the biggest and best in history, thanks in no small part to the Super Bowl being held in our very own Superdome the week before Mardi Gras day. If you love football and a great party, then there really is no other place to be than in New Orleans between January 25th, when the first parades roll, until February 12 when the party culminates with Fat Tuesday's raucous celebration.
Whether you are looking for family fun, sophisticated socials or just want to eat, drink and be merry, Mardi Gras has something to offer. If you plan to be in the city on Mardi Gras day, costumes are optional, but HIGHLY recommended!
