Fine Antiques Since 1912

Max Rau opened the doors to a small antiques store in 1912, making a commitment to provide only the finest quality and unsurpassed service at a fair price. That philosophy has helped the store grow one hundred fold since then and those ideals still ring very true today. Joe and Elias Rau continued their father's tradition and later passed the business onto the third generation, Jack and Bill Rau. Today, after Jack retired in December, 2005, M.S. Rau Antiques is run by Bill Rau. The passion for excellence and the commitment to service is more apparent today than ever. And, every antique you buy from M.S. Rau Antiques is backed by an unprecedented 125% guarantee—the strongest antiques guarantee in the world!
