Sales Consultant

We are a 103 year old New Orleans based dealer of fine art, estate jewelry and rare antiques. We are a world leader in our industry.  Our firm seeks an experienced, proven sales professional to join our team and add value to our organization.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated sales experience in a luxury line and be comfortable selling directly to high net worth individuals and corporations. 

We expect the selected candidate to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • • Self confidence and enthusiasm

  • • Strong work ethic and discipline 

  • • The ability to create, initiate and follow through on leads

  • • Self-motivated

  • • Skills in dealing with and closing high dollar sales with high net worth individuals

  • • Intelligence, creativity and the ability to make polished presentations

  • • An appreciation for luxury goods and the ability to speak intelligently and effectively about a varied and diverse group of products

  • • The ability to articulate ideas and develop trust with customers, management and fellow employees

The requirements of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • • Working as a team with management and co-workers to achieve personal and company goals

  • • Achieving and exceeding annual sales goals and objectives

  • • Creating, building and nurturing an active client list consistent with our prime demographic

  • • Being professional, open, approachable and knowledgeable to clients and staff

  • • Being enthusiastic, optimistic and motivated on a daily basis

  • • Able to initiate and close sales in a timely, effective fashion 

  • • Willing to incur limited travel to meet with clients and prospects

Compensation is earned through a combination of commissions and a generous annual bonus plan.  We provide excellent benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan and vacation/sick leave.
