Made from a piece of a fence rail split by Abraham Lincoln, this incredible 19th-century walking stick is a fantastic piece of memorabilia from one of our greatest presidents and greatest Americans. The flat handle features a United States quarter dated 1860, the year of Lincoln's first presidential election, inset into the silver cap. Around the side, the cap is delicately engraved in script: "Lincoln Fence Rail", and "No.147 R.M. to M.B.M." Display items and personal artifacts of Lincoln are, of course, highly coveted by collectors. Exhibiting a fine patina and in excellent condition, this cane is among the rarest and most important walking sticks our gallery has ever seen.
