Each piece is embellished with one of 17 different designs depicting subjects and stories from classical Greek mythology, a revolutionary concept for its time. Designed by Edward C. Moore & F. Antoine Heller and introduced in 1878, Olympian was shown at the prestigious Exposition Universelle in Paris, where it won the Grand Prix Award for Excellence in Design and Silversmithing.
