An important American Brilliant Period cut glass "Gone With the Wind" hurricane lamp by Pairpoint. Adorned with a dramatic design featuring starbursts, palm fans and cane patterns, this lamp evokes a time of gentility and grace. Only a handful of these extraordinary lamps were created in cut glass due to the enormous expense involved in creating the various components. To find one of such elegant size and proportion is indeed quite incredible. This lovely lamp retains its original fittings and is in remarkably good condition.
