These incredible Hepplewhite dining chairs feature the shield backs and perfect proportions for which renowned designer George Hepplewhite became known. The complete set, an exceptional find in itself, is graced with the subtlest of ornamentation, displaying an unassuming wheat motif, with floral caps at the shoulders and rosette medallions at the elbows of the armchairs. The chairs' elegant lines are perfectly balanced by the beautifully upholstered seats. One of the first English furniture makers to market his designs, Hepplewhite's name lives on for his gracefully executed style of Neoclassicism.
