A remarkable blend of artistry and function, the three-train mechanism is housed in a striking replica of a Neoclassical temple. Crafted of luxurious bumblebee satinwood, two Doric columns support the tapered roof as meticulous hand-carving adorns the front pediment, frieze, and panels. This decoration is beautifully echoed on the pierced side panels and friezes for a fluid consistency. A pierced and engraved center plate dominates the dial, which features Arabic numerals and the maker's cartouche.
